Maybe dance is just one of the possible manifestations of the energy music can bring us. If I were to make a movie, from the several scenes I could make, I can totally see techno/trance in a scene where a character just wakes or
trance|walks in the street or
trance|sits and thinks,...etc ... hard to put it into social scenes, trance is not a social music, like you can put rock'n roll in a dialogue scene (thinking of Tarantino -Pulp Fiction, reservoir dogs-)..
