As some of you may know, I've started temping in order to find a way to resolve my current money problem; or rather, my current lack of money problem. It's great. I get a change of scene every couple of weeks, and the pay's, well, pretty good.

As for the executive with the spelling and grammar mistakes, it reminds me of the owner in my job: he owns a rather upmarket opticians in Muswell Hill, one in Leigh-on-Sea, one in Southwold, and another in Beccles (of all places), yet his typing is almost as incomprehensible as his handwriting!
He once wrote an email of complaint to a manager at BT and walked away from the computer before sending it... and I couldn't stop myself from quickly correcting all his spelling! (and this is ME! The incredibly illiterate! < as my overuse of exclaimation marks will attest) and of course, he sent a message to another branch yesterday, and I later stood there at the computer for at least 3 minutes, just trying to work out what it said! God knows how poor Rene faired at interpreting it, English isn't even his first language ( ... )
