It's pretty damn incredible, isn't it? That scene alone deserved an emmy or something. I knew I was emotionally affected by it when I first saw it, but I hadn't watched it in years, and so when it popped into my head during my current personal emotional musings and I went to watch again, I was wowed.
I have not rewatched season 7 episodes nearly enough. I'm betting there are some I've only ever scene once, while with earlier seasons there are episodes I've seen countless times. When Buffy ended, I swore off watching it at all (or any t.v. really) for quite awhile after.
