The Party of Lincoln was the party that emancipated the slaves and 90-100 years later stood up to Southern Democrats to pass civil rights legislation.

Republicans and Democrats both passed the Thirteenth Amendment abolishing Slavery. And it was the Democrats who sponsored civil Rights Legislation. The Party of Lincoln destroyed the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and every thing the Declaration of Independence stood for. The Party of Lincoln could nae care less aboot the Spirit of '76. The Reason this Nation is ranked sixteenth in Education on the entire Globe among industrialised Nations is partially because of central planning (akin tae Communism) instituted by the Republican Party during Reconstruction, the American Holocaust. And how hypocritical is it tae enslave free Southern Whites tae free Slaves incapable of acting on their own wi' out Education and training? At least Southern Democrats stood up tae the Evil in the Republican Party. We would be a lot better off if the Whigs had ne'er spawned the Republican Party.

I also think that you have to worry about perception. People from Boeing, the Washington Business Roundtable, KOMO, Metrokc.gov, the US Navy via NCTC, and Dino Rossi's Forward Washington (to name a few) have all seen my post about you - and I encourage you to think about that long and hard. When you make public statements on your LiveJournal equating Republicans to retards and then proceed to not just write about them, but post in your LiveJournal bragging about sneaking this past your editor... I think we Republicans have a right to - with dignity that you respectfully lack - raise the issue of bias.

One other thing: Knowing disabled people, they consider the word "retarded" just as bad as the... f-bomb. I'll leave you w/ that thought.

As a graduate of the UW Journalism program, I feel the need to point out that you are not, in fact, a student of said journalism program, and as such, hope that others will not take your behavior as representative of ANY media professional (emphasis on PROFESSIONAL) who comes from that institution. Part of the Journalism curriculum is classes in media ethics, something that you seem to be sadly lacking ( ... )

Republicans may not be retarded, but they are biased, unobjective, unfair, self-righteous, full of Shit, Hypocrites, unwilling tae participate in bettering Society, and full of fascist Leanings.

I would say Republicans dinnae know what is best for the People (choosing George W. Bush as their Presidential Candidate o'er the brilliant, wonderful Alan Keyes), but I personally dinnae think they care what is best for the People.
