So, while watching all of the Super Tuesday action (including this hi-larious little story about confused Texans showing up at the polls even though they don't actually vote until March 4--"But they kept talking about all the elections happening today!"), I became rather confused about the superdelegates. Furthermore, it's hilarious that people think we live in a democracy. All one must do is read Plato's republic or study a bit of history to learn that we do not, in fact, live within, in anyway, an actual democracy. A democracy, in American terms, would be abhorrent. So many people, so much education, but so little philosophy. This world is as it is and it is our responsibility. May peace remain. May suffering end. May Bliss persevere. I pray that humanity realizes it's own true nature, and realizes that the true nature is not always beautiful. Darkness and light are sisters. We dance a dance of being that involves a beautiful harmony of good and evil. This dance, this harmony, is never really balanced. The crucible is what we call Human Nature. Whether or not they are ever balanced lies the direction our race will take. Whether or not they are balanced lies divinity and diversity. On one side is light and the other darkness and who's to say which is right? Who's to say that they aren't the same thing? Who's there, really, to say any ( ... )
