Ughhhhhhhh I hate not having Louie with us!!! I mean our living arrangement is actually really awesome. The only thing that sucks is not having the ability to invite anyone over we want whenever (which comes with renting a room), and no Louie :(
Doug and Erica are awesome. I mean really, we've all gotten closer since living together instead of growing apart from living together. But back to the main reason for my post.
I miss Louie!!!! Last night I had to drop off Lily with my parents because the fences are getting fixed at the house. So I got to see my Louie. My parents told me that the other day a black civic exactly like mine drove down to the neighbor's 2 doors down. I guess as soon as Louie saw the car he went running down the street into the yard where the people were, which he never does. My dad took off yelling for him, but he wouldn't listen. He only decided to turn around and run back to my parents' house when he saw the people get out and realized they weren't me and Sean. :( How sad is that??!! ughhhh. I'm a terrible mother.
I'm just glad he has a place to stay where he is super happy and can run and play outside all day long, and gets fed really well. It just sucks cuz we miss him sooooo much. Hopefully the deal will go through on this Kennsington house quicker than usual and we can have our little boy back.
As for Lily.... We need to find a babysitter for her when we're in Vegas. I really don't want to have to pay the vet to watch her. Well, I'm sure I could have Bridgy watch her no problem, but I know Bridgy works during the weekends, and I don't know where she could stay. I guess I'll have to talk to her about it. I'm sure she can go to work with her actually.... Thank God for Bridgy. It's nice knowing we have each other to take care of each other's animals..... I've taken care of her doggies, horse, rabbit, kitties and turtle before and she's done the same for me and my parents.
We seriously love our animals a little too much.
So on that note, I'll talk about something else. How was everyone's weekends?
Mine was pretty rad. Friday night we went and met up with Danielle at the sports complex to watch James and all those guys play softball. It was really nice to catch up with Danielle. We got to meet James' family, and they are like the nicest people ever. Seany was tortured having to watch and not getting to play, so when we got home, he called Johnny and hopefully they're going to try and get all their old friends together to start a team. That would be soooo much fun! Plus, I found out that Allie's boyfriend is one of Sean's old friends, which is pretty awesome.
Anyways, we came home and played dominoes with the roomies for an hour, then went to bed. Saturday we were supposed to go to the fair, but Seany forgot our coupons at work, so we didn't want to spend all the extra money. We played dominoes and jenga with Doug during the day, then we went to Sara's for a little bit. She looks so amazing! Holy crap. She has lost so much weight, and her hair looks great...I'm just so amazed and proud of her. She's been working her butt off a long time to try and lose weight and it is finally paying off for her. She looks fantastic.
Sunday was nice... we slept in until 12!!! Then I went and got my hair cut, and Erica and I hung out for a bit afterwards. Then I came home and we made burgers. Then we went to the movies to see Transformers. It was really good, except the picture was all blurry throughout the whole movie. I hate the Tracy theatres. They always screw up something.
This coming up weekend we're going camping with my family in Bodega Bay at Bodega Dunes. Hopefully we'll get a spot right on the water. We're supposed to go digging for clams too! And Lily gets to come too :)
Ummmm...lets see... I'm getting super excited for Vegas in September and then Amy's shower in October. I just put my first little bit of money aside for it. I have a bunch of games already picked out. I tried to find fun ones that will make people laugh. I can't wait to find out if baby is a boy or girl! Then I can have Amy choose her colors. Erica is going to help me come up with some ideas. She did these crazy cute baskets for Sarah (Tomah's wife). She made this huge diaper cake with ribbon wrapped around it. Then she had a bunch of baskets with receiving blankets rolled up to look like giant lollipops and candies wrapped in celofane and ribbon. They were so cute!
I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but I'm just so excited. I just want to make sure that Amy has a great shower. I know it's up to me to throw it for her and I don't want to let her down.
Well anyways, I'm going to go do some more hmwk to get ahead. I can't believe I only have a little over 3 more months until I'm done with my Associates.
Oh yeah, and another thing going on is that I'm trying to get a job at a dialysis clinic. My parents sell to a bunch of them all over the place, and we're pretty sure they pay pretty well. I don't think it'll happen soon, but hopefully if they have an opening, i'll get an in....
It would be really great experience for nursing school, cuz I know I'm going to be super nervous when it comes time to stick each other with IV's to LEARN. It'll be very helpful if I already know how to do all that so I won't feel like such a retard. Plus they work 7 days a week so they could probably be flexible with me for school.... It sure would be nice to have a change..... I can't stand this job much longer.
