It's happy and upbeat. It always makes me wanna dance when i'm chilling in my room. I also adore the lyrics cause they're kind of ridiculous and pointless and out of the blue.
2. A song that helps you clear your head ;
You found me // The Fray.' lost and insecure,you found me you found me,lying on the floor. surrounded surrounded'
Its a beautiful song with gorgeous lyrics that make me think about everything and everyone. Its definetly in my top 25 of favourite songs and i still listen to it everyday after 2 years.
3. A song that makes you laugh ;
Backfire At The Disco // The Wombats.'it was a chat-up line built not to impress my sleazy remark on her whorish dress'
The lyrics are quite funny and The Wombats pretty much never fail to make me laugh with their songs. I love their music to bits and i always put on their album when i'm feeling down.
4. A song that reminds you of something sad ;
My Happy Ending // Avril Lavigne. 'you were all the thing i thought i knew,and i thought we could be'
I've always loved this song. I've known it for a couple years now and i still listen to it from time to time. The lyrics are also relevant to something i've been trough,and when i listen to that song i always get reminded of that hard time in the past.
5. A song that makes you cry ;
Cancer - My Chemical Romance 'if you could get me a drink,of water cause my lips are chapped and faded'
This song makes me cry everytime i hear it. I lost my grandmother to cancer,and listening to thing song reminds me of the good times i had with her and how much i actually miss her. Its also a beautiful song,sung by the gorgeous Mikey Way,which makes me even more emotional.
6. A song you like hearing live ;
One Day Like This - Elbow 'So throw those curtains wide,one day like this a year it'd see me right'
This song is definetly my all time favourite. Its just too beautiful for words. My sister saw Elbow live a week ago,and she said that they were the best live band she had ever seen. This song always gives me chills. The violins are beautful in it,there is not a single flaw in this song.
7. A song by your favourite band ;
I Gave You All - Mumford & Sons 'I close my eyes for awhile,and force from the world a patient smile'
everything about this song is perfect. It starts quiet and slow at first,and then it builds up towards the end and becoms strong and fast. The lyrics are so subtle and gorgeous,its defenitly a song that gives me chills everytime i listen to it.
8. A song you're currently obsessed with ;
Call Your Girlfriend - Robyn 'don't you even try to explain how it's so different when we kiss.'
I Normally don't like her songs,but when i heard this song i immediatly fell in love. I love everything about this song and i can't stop listening to it.
