Was it you that was telling me about that before? Shocking - I shall sign anything thrust towards me.

Mind you, I'm glad they're not making The Machine illegal. Although it might be a good idea.

hmmm, a benefit gig is possibly not a bad idea. i'm new to this neck of the woods, i shall need to do some research for venues etc. not a bad plan though, not bad at all!

if i manage to successfully sort it out in bristol then maybe me & you can take over a rocksteady one week and see what we can make of that?

Ive been trying to find non partisan information about this codex thing, its a bit confusing, the wikepedia article on it isn't giving much away. I skimmed the alliance for natural health and the raw diet place but am dubious about trusting info that comes from somewhere that carries ads for vibrating food. The supplement stuff seems to be due to a different but possibly related set of EU laws (and to be honest many supplements and the literature surrounding them are hokey enough that they should be governed better, I'm all for choice but the choice should be informed). The codex itself is described in various places as directives rather than law and I can't find anything about irradiated food on any news site. As far as I was aware food that's irradiated has to be labelled as such in the UK. I'm not saying its great and I am no fan of large pharmaceutical firms but I'm not sure the reporting on those sites is accurate.

On the other hand we might just feel really differently about this stuff.
