Awesome post! I didn't realize that time in NYC as the first fandom meet-up you went to, wow! Are you going to Prophecy, by any chance?

Yah, it was my first meet-up, it holds a lot of special memories for me.
Sadly I can't make it to Prophecy, I've got that wonderful poor college student thing going for me at the moment. I've put 'go to a con' on my list of things that need to be done, so hopefully I'll get to one soon.
