We've had a weird cold front and lots of sleet and freezing rain and stuff, so everybody in Austin is pretty much trapped indoors today. That means no first day of school, among other things. Thankfully I just happened to go on a big grocery trip on Sunday in an effort to do more cooking from scratch at home, so I'm all stocked up with food

yep, i'm starting to get stir crazy. right... about... now. these are the times when i wish everybody i know lived in one giant treehouse.

This reminds me: I've just uploaded the Receptionists' "Drinking Fountain" to my blog. It's the one track from their first single that didn't make it onto The Last Letter. I don't remember if you ever got that 7", but I figured to the extent there are other Receptionists completists out there, they might enjoy it.
