I'm writing this from Lainie's house, where I'm keeping an eye on the little schmoes. They've been pretty immersed in this video game that takes place in a Star Wars world made of Legos for most of the time I've been here. They call me in when something entertaining happens. cool, you'll get to hang out with all your friends in whiteness class. i think "whiteness" might be even weirder and more fun to say than "death" used to be.

I admit I'm kind of looking forward to telling people "I'm late for Whitness," or whatever.

There are even more of the old gang in Janet's class, though. Like, almost everyone I know in the department is in that class. If the first meeting was any indication I think it's going to be a pretty fun class.

Sounds like a good semester! The class on Whiteness sounds particularly interesting... I probably would have enrolled for that too. Would you mind sending me the reading list for this class?

WSSA meets tomorrow, and we're still doing knitting on Fridays. Interested in hanging out?

You won't believe it--I ended up with a Thursday night class AGAIN. There are weeks when we won't have screenings so I might be able to some to spinning meetings those weeks, if they happen to fall on the same weeks.

Friday knitting, on the other hand, should be a lot more doable. And I kind of need a kick in the pants to get me working on my knitting. I think I should be able to come this week...unless I'm doing the thing where I forget I have plans. But I don't think so.

i took a whiteness class at bard. unfortunately it was a sociology class. luckily it didn't get too annoyingly social sciency but i think i still would have preferred something like what you're taking.
