cold heart. you manipulate it and you think it's going to work okay even though there are a few kinks and a lot of problems you can never really get to the bottom of. you really think it's going to be okay.
but when you pull away from the kiss, everything stops functioning. like where is your nonchalance now? where is the 'best friends forever'? and where is the 'i'll always believe in you no matter what happens'?
it all goes to shit.
you're avoided like the plague just because you might feel something. you never gave him a clue.
"junho" you say.
but there's just a shift of small eyes and a permanently sour mouth as he deliberately whisks away, out of your reach, out of earshot.
"i love you though."
you can see his surface cracking too. he deserves it, you think. because now you're spilling out everywhere, leaving stains where there's supposed to be clean immaculate exchanges of daily life.
"but i've always loved you."
