Why was the Sabbath question the “flash point” of controversy between Jesus and the Pharisees?

We see on a number of occasions that the things Jesus did on the Sabbath bothered the Pharisees greatly. We know that the Pharisees were extremely legalistic but there may be a second reason that Jesus dealings on the Sabbath bothered them. It seems ( Read more... )

wow wee 94.9! Did you cheat -- no just kidding..I'm not at all surprised at a mark like that! WOW Do you remember me telling you that you would be really good at what ever it was that you would set your mind to.. So I was so right. hee hee Do you remember wanting to be a bum? ! got so excited that you had a vision with a purpose, and I just knew if you put your whole heart into becomming a bum, that you wuld be the best bum that ever there was..
