Question: Is smoking pot (or alcohol/tobacco/narcotics) right or wrong?  Is it a disputable matter?

Another couple of Scriptures that might help:

1 Cor. 6:12 - "Everything is permissible for me - but not everything is beneficial. Everything is permissible for me - but I will NOT BE MASTERED BY ANYTHING."

Col. 2:6 - "So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as LORD [of every area of your life], continue to live in Him, rooted and built up [growing] in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness [grateful for His forgiveness and grace]. See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on HUMAN tradition and the basic principles of this world RATHER than on Christ."

oh thats sooo good. 1 cor 6:12 i think really hits the nail on the head. because i guess thats what it all comes down to...we are free but dont want to partake in things like that because it's not edifying to the body or glorifying to Christ. i love you barr!!!
