I have a terrible fear of both. I can't look at snakes on tv, in books, and damn sure not trying to look at one in real life. So don't ask me how I managed to live with my roommate for 3 years and she had a fucking baby python, named Pinkie. The main condition of my moving in with her was I never wanted to see the creature. So she kept it in the tank and if I had to go in her room, she threw a blanket over it, taking care that I didn't see anything.
