"Everything's reinforced." He rubs his cheek against her helm. "And that isn't what I was talking about the humans doing... this is."
The rock wall in front of them slides open, revealing a large and softly lit room. Three small voices exclaim with surprise as he proudly carries her over the threshold.
"MC, you see that, man??"
"For sure! The boss has himself a squeeze!"
"...MC gonna get squeezed for sayin' that."
"Oh oh...."
"Hey! Put my legs back on! MC wanna run away too!"
He grumbles about 'freakin' Doozers' and steps over that last little voice on the floor to set her down on the big unpadded sitting platform, then turns and scoops up a tiny green and yellow mech from the floor, fixes his damage, and then tosses him lightly through the door. "All of you go to the Ark 'n stay there."
"You got it, D-man!" The tossed one gives him two thumbs up, and then books it as the door slides shut.
Dreadnought turns back to Gen, his expression softening into a grin. "Freakin' Doozers."
"From what I've read it takes awhile for our processors to figure out our boundries after our sparks are bonded. And it takes a little time for the sparks to heal, as well."
"And," her leg starts swinging again as she presses closer, "what are we supposed to do in those three days?"
She may or may not be trying to flirt; the way she asks is innocent enough to suggest that she isn't, but the close proximity to the mech suggests that she is.
"Snuggle? Figure out where one ends and the other begins." He absently rubs his chest with the hand he'd been stroking her helm with, feeling the yearning to not be unfinished anymore as he scrunches down slightly so that he can lay his cheek against her head. "They call it the honeymoon."
Were she organic, Gen would've crinkled her nose. "This is the part where certain annoying brothers, who shall be unnamed, will jump in to say something embarrassing."
Luckily for them, Psych--who is in no way, shape, or form anything like the unnamed annoying brother, nope, not at all--is still being harrassed by a certain Decepti-kitty.

Dreadnought's inner clock informs him cheerfully that it's morning and time to get up and train. Usually he'd be on his feet in a nanoclick, ready and raring to face the day.
This morning he unshutters his optics and stares blankly at the back of the couch as he tries to figure out where his thoughts and feelings end and Gen's begin.
This is what he'd been aiming for, and so he rumbles with satisfaction and does so, then returns his cheek to her head as his big hand covers the part of her plating nearest her tank. Warm tank and warm fuel = comfort. He'll remember to feed himself in a moment. Important stuff first.

And then his lips brush hers and his thought processes derail.
