I will say that, if you're considering a PDA phone, do make sure that you get one in your hands first, to make sure it's comfortable to use, before you commit to buy the hardware (which of course comes with a contract extension, if that matters to you, unless you feel like paying the full MSRP for the phone...). For instance, I'm OK on the Sidekick keyboards (both the Sidekick II keyboard, and the somewhat smaller Sidekick Slide keyboard), but some of Blackberry keyboards are so small that I don't think I could use them comfortably. The G1 is larger than either Sidekick and has a larger keyboard than either Sidekick, and that's one of the things I'm looking forward to with this upgrade.
