Saw Built to Spill last Sat on the last night of their tour w/ Camper Van Beethoven. I had wanted to see the show, but lost heart, then drug myself out at the last minute. Neat shoes. They have the "old man" aesthetic going, but in a good way. As for that girl, using her logic you could argue that she was hitting on your friend. Of course, this is ignoring any assumptions about orientation. Did you get tired of your funny hat?

You're right. She probably WAS hitting on my friend.

Yea - that hat was annoying, you could see it in my face.
Plus, it's halloween and I love these skulls.

Hmm... yeah, some girls really want to be hit on so bad that they lose track of what that really entails. I feel like I can tell whose hitting on me (look for the sparkle in the eyes!) but I know I've been wrong before too... it's a mix of wishful thinking and arrogance, I guess!
