A part of my recent retail therapy was the purchase of a new mp3 player.  Yes, you read that correctly, MP3 Player, not iPod.

Exhibit A:  I've owned 2 versions of the iPod (and borrowed another) - I replaced/warrantied each of the 2 I owned at least twice each, maybe three times.  The one I borrowed stopped working.  I'm not generally an abuser of ( Read more... )

DRM is the reason I haven't, and may never, give up on CDs for music. It sucks that because to mega-corporations feel threatened by one another that we have to be limited in our choices as consumers.
