As of late, my educational mind has been preoccupied by two books:  Faust by Marlowe/Goethe and The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins.  It has only recently dawned on me that both might be indicative of a greater psychological shift in my way of thinking ( Read more... )

Instead of worrying about a grand scheme of morality, I can make decisions on my own that suit my circumstances.

This is actually very similar to the pagan beliefs that I tend to lean towards. Pretty much, make your own damn decisions, and don't bother praying unless you're really desperate, cause probably nothing's going to happen anyway even if you pray.

It makes it a lot easier not to care about all the bullshit in life.
