I'm a big sucker for time travel stories and alternate histories. Harry Turtledove's Worldwar series had me enthralled.

For those Last few who hadn't heard, Arthur C. Clarke died on Wednesday. His legacy -- his writing -- will be remembered for generations.
In 2007, he spoke to his fans in what would be the last time in public. You can watch the video of ACC speaking here.
