Laundry Days

I'm doing laundry today and have been chatting online a bit as well. I've been hearing an interesting variety of stories about where people put their washing machine and dryer. For example, some of my friends in other states have a toilet in the same room as their laundry appliances, while in my own experience, I grew up with the "laundry room"

Mine is a dedicated laundry room/closet (it has hanging racks and some shelving...makes sense no?)

That sounds like it could be really handy :) Do you like it that way?

It works pretty well except some of the clothing racks are placed poorly so that sometimes errant laundrysoap gets on the clothes that are hanging there... if it wasn't for that, it'd be perfect :3

I'd like it if they were on the main floor instead of in the basement.

Our washer and dryer are in the basement. Like, the farthest, most out of reach corner. It's creepy in the basement and I don't like it!

That's pretty interesting. And at the same time, eek! O.o

Hehe! My mom eventually wants to bring the washer and dryer up to the main floor of the house so she won't have to do the steps anymore. But who knows whenever that'll be.
