Although the sight of a rhino trodding through the streets would have been terribly out of place in a lot of cities, it wasn't that much of an oddity for a place like Patchwork Earth. It definitely wasn't the strangest thing to happen here, not by a long shot ( Read more... )

"Hmm, well, this is close to the university, but I'm not sure if we should head that way or not," Kira looked around from her vantage point. She sighed. Maybe everyone was already long gone... "Thanks for taking me this far, anyway," she said, smiling at Rhinox before she slid down and dropped onto the ground.

"Hi," Kira smiled and waved back. The very first person she'd met upon coming to this place many months ago... odd that he just happened to be right here. "Sorry, I didn't see you over there. How are things?"

"Oh, and this is Rhinox," she said, nodding to the rhino behind her. "I don't know if you've heard of him or not... He's never been here before."
