["Trust me, I'm the Doctor" was usually something that the Doctor said when he was trying not to explain things to his companions or he was hiding something. Naturally, the Doctor becomes a bit suspicious of Stein's use of the phrase and decides to head on over for a visit. Not seeing him immediately upon arriving, the Doctor shouts,] Hullo! Anyone there?

[Stein sticks his head around the corner, eyebrows raised.]

Over here. Are you new to Vatheon? Did you need an examination? You'll have to come around here.

I have been here since... December, I believe. I'm a Doctor, myself, and I am interested in having a look at your facilities.

[patchworkdoctor]

Right now I've only got the basics on me. Oral thermometer, ear scope, stethoscope, that sort of thing. I'm only interested in looking for the basics. I have bandaging supplies inside.

The lab isn't really used for checkups.

That makes sense. Vatheon probably doesn't have a lot of equipment on hand to give out to foreigners.

Really? Then what is it used for?

Experiments. [he gives a small smile.] I am a scientist, after all.
