Hello, hello~! I am Fran Madaraki, creation (although "daughter" is a more fitting word) of the famous biochemist Naomitsu Madaraki, and what a charming community I seem to have stumbled upon. Those of you whom I have already met, it was a pleasure indeed. Those of you whom I have not, I look forward to making your acquaintance ( Read more... )

You pretty much turned these people into freaks of nature.

Tsk, must everyone rain on my parade? The alterations were for their own good, and of their own will.

Interesting, but it could be argued that perhaps humanity isn't quite ready for that sort of science.

It can also be argued that science can't wait for humanity to be ready. Revolutionary methods have often proven to be the best course, despite how much criticism they came under at the time. Like washing your hands.

That is true, but while some of the procedures you list are fairly normal often times giving people everything they think they want can be disastrous - I expect the the lady in the first picture you linked was in short order complaining of back aches and I can't imagine what life was like for the man whose eyes you changed so drastically.

That is not my concern, though. It was their choice, after all. Oh, that man was an artist who had been diagnosed with empyema. True, he did seem a little.......upset after the bandages had first been removed, but later he returned to thank me, having found the love of his life due to the operation.

I must be honest. Some of these procedures don't look safe, or even possible, for that matter.

Sometimes a risk is required to produce results~ And they are all very possible, I assure you.

I'm aware of the necessity of risks. And I'm afraid I still can't quite understand how some of these are possible.

I am completely supportive of the advancement of science, but I just don't see how any of this is beneficial.

[ooc; All better now! 8D ♥]

It's too complicated to give you all the details, if not also a bit confidential.

Well, I admit that a few were for superficial reasons, but the girl with the caterpillar body, for instance, had been near death after being run over by a car; her arms and legs were ruined. The metamorphosis ended with her having a brand new body - a better alternative, I think, to using prosthetics.
