I just kept writing and writing... I guess more happened than I thought.
Nice to meet you, Brood. I'm Knight. [Soon after he writes that, a mark appears on the corner of the page. It's clearly not ink, though, and appears rather wet. It's also in the shape of a dog's nose.]
You're welcome! I'm glad you have a roommate now. She's pretty nice, so I think you two will get along.
...yeah, I have the same problem with itchiness and red spots. It really needs to go away, but the only thing I can do is use more of that lotion. You should get some from the clinic, too. It helps--at least for a little while. I swear I'm going to go through bottles of this stuff.

I'm afraid I'm living quite vicariously through everyone else's journals, at this present time.
I'm Brood, by the way.

Hmm... I'll have to be sure to get some, then. Thanks. I hope dogs can't catch this...

And the red sores are the tree. It's got a really sick sense of humor. Medical Island has some lotion for the itching.
Got a name for the dog yet?

Geez, does this tree ever do anything nice?
Umm... Not yet. I'm trying to think of something good to name him.

Well... it does things that are less obnoxious.
