Darkness envelopes everything, even where there is light, I only see a twilight a montage of how things could be somewhere, someplace happier and the darkness that fills my life. You are so good with words. In comparison, I am like Spock when I write. Logical and direct.
"...try to keep in mind that storms always subside..." is this like: nothing lasts forever, only the earth and sky? Some find solice in this; others find it disturbing. However, in the context in which you speak, I have often found comfort. When things are REALLY bad, I think, nothing lasts forever, this too, will pass.
And nothing can be taken from us by the abyss.
