Title: Consuming Blackness
Style: Eclectic
Fire
It encases my heart
But now the flames begin to expire
And I am left with nothing.
Perhaps the consuming blackness of my pain
The fear that runs unchecked
It leaves icy trails through my veins
My soul trembling in its wake.
That something so big could come of something so small
It is only little, merely a speck
Yet somehow this speck is my downfal
And I fear for my very life.
For this little thing could cause my death
That is what kills the flames
That recede as I fear to take my last breath
But I am left with something.
I am left with the tumour.
