Oh, this brightens my day so much! What a fantastic review. Many, many thanks! I send you kisses from, well, me, but also whichever Greek deity you prefer. And I'll send people to come read this, too. Saving it to my "cool reviews" file! Have a fabulous day (with caffeine as needed). xoxo
(That is, I'm sending people--via my Facebook author page--to the same review on Amazon, to respect this journal's privacy settings.) :) Also, yeah, rape wasn't going to fly for me. And kidnapping was pretty iffy too. Had to make some large revisions. There aren't a lot of *happy* love stories in Greek myth, so they require rewrites.
Oops, I knew I forgot something. I changed the entry from friends-only to public, hope that helps! I love what you did with the story, it's actually the only modernized myth story that I enjoyed. Most of them are terrible. Love, love, love the reincarnation dreams/memories.
No worries; same text either site. :) I'm very glad the reincarnation and dreams and all worked for you. That was the kind of thing that kept me awake at night trying to untangle it and set rules for it. It probably still doesn't make perfect sense, but then, paranormal fiction is more fun when such things aren't explained too fully. (e.g., How no one felt the need for midichlorians in Star Wars, etc.) Thank you again!!
