you so should! as i was telling melanie an option is getting a Luther research grant that pays you like full time (40hours a week - about $2,500 for the summer) and you can research and research and research and then use that for your senior paper. i'll probably end up being in decorah for the summer as well and im seriously thinking of trying to do that. i was talking to this dude that i know and he said that he worked like 40 hours probably the whole summer - you can kinda make your own hours - have another job on the side - whatever. he said that there are little meetings that you have to report on your progress but yeah other than that - you can hang out and chill.
although if you're looking for a place where you will be totally sane - i would not suggest decorah. this place is slightly claustrophobic after a while - but beautiful. AND i'll probably be here. oh princess heiri - think about it and i can promise you a summer of fun here in the boring land of d-town!!! :P
