The relationship between Anakin and Obi-Wan is easy and fun, even in dire times. I love Anakin's wry "roger, roger," and the spark of dry humor inherent even when he's ignoring Obi-Wan's medical advice. Conversely, I like Anakin being exasperated by Obi-Wan's pre-battle banter. It's like disrobing before igniting his lightsaber - it's just the right thing to do.

I really enjoyed Obi-Wan's fretting that he's 'cruel by comparison' to Anakin's natural compassion for strangers. Naturally, I wanted to see more Ventress, but she seems to be just on the periphery if there's anything to be written in this universe anyways, so. I like Obi-Wan admitting his man-feels for Anakin. It's always a little breathtaking when it's done well, and in your stories, it always, always is.

♥ You made me feel all gooey inside with this comment. I wanted to have more Ventress, but alas I ran out of time and had to cut her scene(s) short. As I am wont to do, I may go back and expand on parts of this at some point.
