SO GOOD. You incorporated lots of head-canon and character stuff that we've talked about on several occasions, and it humanizes Skullmaster (literally) without in any way woobifying him. The implication that Virgil creates the Cap after all the destruction has occurred - maybe even after the Prophecy has been written/via its instruction - is interesting, and also the idea that Virgil created it; it's his first giant step outside of his comfort zone, as it were. I like the ending a lot. I still think there's a story to be told about What Norman Knows, too.
