Toft is someone who desperately needs A) A hobby, and B) A life. Her so-called joke was pathetic.
I'm also astonished that she has people posting on her LJ who see nothing wrong with what she did. She lied to and manipulated people. Obviously, that's okay in their world. ::is glad she isn't part of it::
I'm still wondering how she could completely *miss* the idea that a lot of people would not be happy with what she did - twice. First when she decided to do it and then when she decided to reveal it on her DW.
She's perfectly capable of slipping into the way of thinking of the fictitious characters she writes, imagine their reactions to something.
So I really, really don't get how she failed to spare a stray thought on how *real* people would react to her revelation and was apparently completely surprised by the fall out.
