Since I was busy with McShep Match and I still have to do two team-recs on stargateficrec I'm just doing a few artwork-recs for the SGA Saturday Fandom Appreciation Challenge

That was "Mirror Image" aka "Distorted Mirror", right? Wonderful artwork to a great story (I love all your "Second"-, the stories, the artwork by Bluespirit for "Second Verse" still gives me shivers and the John and the Rodney in your story still leaves me with a lump in the throat whenever I re-read it).

I hope you enjoy the rest of the artwork - I deliberately chose older ones because I think that people new to the fandom perhaps might not have found those yet. :-)

Yes! Distorted Mirror was the one. :-) I adore that cover. And Blue has done covers for so many of my stories--I should feature them all in one place because it is like having your very own cover artist. :-)

Your comments on Second Verse made me grin--that story is one of my personal favorites. :D

I love that you're showcasing older works for newer fans--there is so much depth to this fandom that it would be easy for new fans to think there is not much to it anymore--and miss out on some of the most amazing pieces!

I think there's nothing better than to get a surprise feedback on stuff one has done long ago. *g* Win-win for all involved parties - the newer fans who get to see pretty work and the artists who, hopefully, get a little feedback, even if it is just a "wow, nice".
