That's cool!! So they actually asked you to use some of your Japanese!!! I hope you did really well in your interview. You got asked a lotta questions, man. That's gotta be such a load off your back knowing you're finally done with that process... I remember feeling so relieved after I finished that interview.
Another bit of advice, you probably wanna get your international drivers license (which I'm sure you know), but be careful not to get it too soon. If you can, kinda wait for the last minute on that one... It expires a year from the day you get your international license in America... so for me, mine expires some time in June, which is like a month and a half less than it could have been. You gotta take your license test every year as a foreigner in Japan and it's supposedly SUPER hard-- it at least takes 2 tries. I'm guessing it will take me like 4 or 5 haha. Definately keep that in mind!!!
