That's quite true (a loose joint can cause unsightly burns, like on your shirt, or bow-tie), but meeting Marc Emery will still be pretty awesome. He's fighting extradition to the U.S. and could face a massive amount of jail time, all for selling seeds. The US DEA has admitted themselves, that he'd be a political prisoner.

Franz Ferdinand is a Scottish band. He was also an archduke, shot by the Serbian nationalist Gavrillo Princip starting WWI. All the other things in the article (like INTERPOL, British Sea Power, etc. are also bands).

No worries, my roommate didn't get it either.
