Actually, Four dealt quite a bit with the Master, before and after he cheated a fourteenth regeneration by stealing a body, and the Master not only had a TARDIS, but a newer one with a working chameleon circuit.

Pedantic? Me??

Pedantic? You?

No, you're quite right, I was being imprecise.

The Master has more than one TARDIS and there is old file footage (perhaps never used until recently) of the first Doctor stealing his TARDIS from a "fleet" of the same type of time machine.

But the Doctor's TARDIS is forever the same blue Police Box. Whatever varies, that never has.

An excellent point, and of course I went on to discover your more involved discussions (which I had missed the first time, victims of long working hours.) Our TARDIS never changes, at least on the outside. (I'm still waiting, without holding my breath, for the reappearance of Four's Edwardian paneled control room.)

Pedantry often consists of knowing perfectly well what someone is saying, but picking at one point anyway. And/or trying to show off how much obscure knowledge one is hoarding. Um, if I didn't have bad habits people would worry? :)

I kind of knew I was being teased. But your critical evaluation is appreciated and I do need to improve my writing skills to not tempt others into pedantry.

You like the cozy retro look but I prefer the sweeping alienesque cathedral-like control centres of recent times.

A repeated - and, for fans, hilarious! - Doctor Who gag is, "You've redecorated." "I don't like it," which was, I think, started by Patrick Troughton in The Three Doctors. Troughton if you recall was 'Two'. 'Ten' and 'Eleven' also got in on the act.

Would 'Four' be your favourite Doctor?
