One of my nieces called a few minutes ago all apologetic for not being able to call yesterday to say Happy B-day.She plays on 2 hockey teams and has been scouted for a possible position as a future Olympic Team player for the Canadian womens team.How awesome is that ( Read more... )

My brother didn't tell her there was scouts in the stand.I think it was a good call on his part,she's still quite young and didn't want to complicate her life at this point.She play both on a girls team & boys team.Gesh,most of the boys are scared of her.She can really throw a check,and is a natural goal scorer too!.When asked to play on a third team,they thought she was 16 but infact was only 13.I'm so proud of her,as much as my brother i think!....Thanks for the support!

Wow, she's doing really well! It was a good call on your brothers part not to tell her that scouts were in the stand. Knowing that could be a bit off putting.
