With the exceptional weather here,i have had the opportunity to start my golf season on April 6th this year.A real bonus for both enthusiasts and course owners for sure.A definite advantage considering my game needs work with exception to my ability to drive the ball straight up the fairway at a respectable distance.Certainly looking forward to ( Read more... )

A local Auto Plant has announced 3 new models to be produced, and 2 more models to be introduced within 5 years. In about 1.5 years 250,000 new cars & trucks will make their way down the assembly line.I presently work in the same field, and have for the past 14 years.I applied & am hoping to get a production associate job being offered.Base rate for this job starts @ 65k,with incentives & premiums/OT,it's not difficult to double this income. Also,Toyota has announced it's plans to build another Plant in the city i reside in,creating 1,500/2,000 new jobs with wages in the 32+/hr with "full" benefits.

Hmm, never understood why anyone would want to walk about knocking a small ball into a hole but I guess it's each to their own ;-) Good luck with the tournament. You did well last year, lets hope there's a repetition of the final result :-)

Good luck with the job. I guess if it's meant to be it will happen. As you say it's a win/win situation. What will you be doing if you get it?

Well,it's a sport for those not only wanting a challenge but also(for me)a chance to see & enjoy a part of the early morning that typically most people do not see.Say now for instance,it's closing in on 5 am here, and i will be heading out doors within a hour or so to play golf.To me,it is a beautiful sight to see a well groomed/manicured course as the sun peaks up in the horizon.Ducks, geese, deer, raccoons & muskrats can be seen scurrying around heading back to wherever it is they call home....A very pleasant & relaxing atmosphere...Certainly more than meets the eye.Perhaps some golfers do not see outside the box,as i do while playing. And,it's "great" exercise ( ... )

Hehe, I was teasing you more than anything about the golf. I do appreciate the pleasant environment that most golf courses are and like you I adore the early mornings. When I lived in the New Forest in southern England I loved to get up early and potter over to a small brook on the heath with a flask of tea, and watch the ponies come down for a drink for their breakfast and also to see the rabbits, cows and sometimes donkeys go about their day. There is also a certain quality to the light at that time of day and a stillness that's different to any other time of the day :-)

It sounds like you might be in with a good chance of the new job as you are very experienced. Pay like that certainly enhances one's quality of life, especially helping to pay for golf course fees :-) I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you, Pat :-)
