My wife recently started a night class that meets every Friday night from last week until sometime in September, leaving me with Friday nights open. Being a gamer, I immediately thought, "Hey! I could put together a new gaming group and scratch that 4E itch I've had for a while."

1)Use of that software is approved.
2) Up for debate, but definiely Heroic level. My personal inclination is 1st so I can ease into the GMing side of 4E. Plus, we will likely start light a player or two, so I want to avoid an accidental TPK.
3) Off hand, no. I only have acess to the first round of core books, so anything from the PHB2 or PHB3 will need some discussion so I know what they do, especially the PH3 races.
4) (based on Jacob's comment) All roles are currently available. Discussion about what you want to play is STRONGLY encouraged, but we can do that at the first full session, which looks to be the 26th.
Note, I'm starting this Friday, the 19th, but right now it looks to just be me and Eric Cooley. As he is the other DM, we'll do some world building and create our characters. If anyone else can make that day, please show up between 6:30 and 7:00.

My funding fell through. I freaked out at first. Then I sat with it and
recognized I am at peace with not being in the ILP. The ILP beginning process did all that I needed to do was to ID the weak points in my personal and business development self mastery. I can now spend time working on those in a genuine fashion. The ILP was about to cause stress/conflict on maintaining living primal on trips out of town. If I feel I have not mastered my junk, then there is always next time.
I can be DM #3 on occasion.
What do you think?
