Patrick, I'm really sorry. My granny had a minor heart attack a couple months ago and drove herself to the hospital. I couldn't stop crying that whole week she was in the hospital and when she was having surgery it was even tougher. I'm my granny's favorite too, I talk to her almost everyday. If she ever dies I don't know what I'll do. If you need someone to talk to, I'm here.
i'm sorry, patrick. reading this entry makes me mega-bummed. anything i can do, get at me. i don't want to lie and say i know exactly how you feel, but i do want you to know that you aren't alone. think of death this way: better to have been close with someone before they die than regretfully not close enough. like, i was never that close to my grandpa, and at the point of his death, the grief was worse because i realized i would never get the chance to really ever bond with him. basically, i want to do anything i can for you. i live right around the corner, but i feel so far away. nevertheless, i'll always be here for you. be strong, bud.
