I had a decent weekend. It was a little boring, but I'm not complaining too much. My friends were all in Grand Rapids for a party, so I hung out at home. I've been reading "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" series, and they are really fun. I liked the movie, but the books are so much better ( Read more... )

there is an open mic night every wensday at Magalinas tea house, on michigan ave. they have alota people play guitar and read poetry and the ocasional comedian.

Technically it refers to what you do right after a high-five. You turn around, put your hands behind your back, and hold them out to be low-fived. You'd say "Catch me on the flipside!" or some variation on that to indicate that the person needs to low-five you. In the case that the other person has asked you to high-five them, you would say, "Let me catch ya on the flipside", indicating to that person that they need to turn around to be for a behind the back low-five (which I may refer to from here on out as a "flipside low-five")

I use it as a typical way of ending correspondence online, or sometimes in person if the person I am conversing with is familiar with said phrase.
