Excellent on the job! Yayaayayayayayayaay!

And I'm glad you have a pet someone to care for who needs your expertise. You do that really well and I think it makes you happier!

It's InfoSec, which is always good. The ISO (my boss) is new, and may not know how to manage a project like this, so I may well have to manage it, which will be a potential to wrangle for a raise or a permanent position. ;-) But the folks at HHSC who know him think he's really nice, and he seemed that way when we met.

Not at once. I have to save up enough money for deposits for apartment, electricity, etc., as well as enough money to be my cushion, and depending on how that balances out, I'll either move closer to town or stay where I am. Since I'm not paying for AC here, there is a real potential to save $$ during the long hot summer!

She doesn't know yet, and she and her husband, being Indian (from Mumbai), may not want to know. She is a little superstitious about many things. I like surprises, myself.
