i have the chrome and black napkin holder that would go perfect with your kitchen!! the napkins are, basically, worthless for anything but delicately dabbing (the little tri-fold kind). and i love all of that stuff you mentioned. 'member l.s.m.f.t.?
cool. but what is lsmft? for the life of me...couldn't get that. i'll be posting more of my stuff and *old* house...when i get it cleaned and photo-ed.
wow... i didn't even remember that one and i should have! my dad smoked them until he quit when i was about 4 or 5 years old. I used to get sent to the laundromat with maybe .35 cents to stand on a chair and pull the knob that held the lucky strikes. i guess i was too young to read the pack. boy...haven't things changed! a five year old buying cigarettes for .35 cents! sheesh!
I love retro & vintage! The glasses and pitcher are great in your kitchen. They certainly don't make chairs like they use to. That looks like it could withstand anything!
I do too! and no, they don't make swivels like this one anymore...i oiled it and now it spins, bounces, and rolls...only thing it doesn't do is massage my back...oh well.
Oooo! Treasures, indeed~ Patsy, I have some 50's or 60's wine glasses that are rimmed in silver and a little pitcher that I would sure like to send to you, because I know you would love them. I have not gotten rid of them because they were a gift from my mom and have great sentimental meaning, but they are just taking up room in my loft that I need for other things. When I read this post, I knew they had found a new home! Would you like to have them? (for free, of course) Please drop me an email at bayarts4u@gmail.com.
