I'm sorry you had to go through this... but also sorry for your belief that SE Michigan would prosecute. Livonia Police Department made me come in person (FROM FLORIDA) to file a report. They wouldn't take a report of this over the phone. Mind you, I had suspect information, location, and evidence. I drove up, completed the report... and now there's still no action (this is 4 months later). The prosecutors simple say that it shouldn't be filed. So I think the only thing I've learned here... is that Livonia is a great place to commit crime.
