Strangers.  Who are they?  Do we know their faces?  Are they vaguely familar?  What if they are only a half stranger?  Do we still call them a stranger?

I just got my daughter off the school bus a little while ago.  She had a friend from school come home with her and they are going to "hang" and do "stuff".  On the corner of our street, there is a

What would I have done? Oh my, I have NO idea. I admire that you were so quick to have a solution. I think you did the absolute right thing.

Eeeesh. Strangers. Another lesson, I'm not looking forward to sorting out and explaining to my daughter. Right now, we're at the stage that EVERYONE is a friend and she says HI! to everyone.

The good news is that the parents have come up with a code word with me and their kids should this happen again. HOpefully, it WON'T happen again...lol...but you know kids!

It is so hard to set the boundaries with your kids when dealing with the stranger issues. They end up being afraid of everyone.....uggghhh!!
