I have had almost 2 months so far of unemployment. I had a huge "to-do" list to keep myself busy, but alas.........I have hardly scratched any of it off. Part of the reason (I love making excuses) is that the weather has been so crappy, but that is thankfully starting to turn around. You can imagine - living in Hawaii - I know all about the tourist watching. =) Yes, it's fun.

There is a restaurant chain here called "Dick's Last Resort". It is a hamburger joint that is known for it's silliness and sometimes sexual innuendos. They take strips of white art paper (you know, just plain white paper you can draw on, but it comes in rolls) and shape it into a hat for the customer to wear. They will then write little slogans on the hats, such as "I love Dick" or "I want Dick"..then something similar for the guys. The tourists LOVE this place.
That is where I sat and watched.....is pretty funny seeing the older folks look embarrased, yet you know they want to wear the hats...lol.

Hawaii....aahhhhh....nuff said! :)
