I've been writing nearly as long as you have and I got the same kind of message on one of my new SG1 snippets just last week. Another friend, also another long time author, got one as well. I deleted mine, but she reported hers to the AO3 team and was told they were aware of it and it's an ongoing investigation about spambots. Apparently, they're trying to sell software that spots AI generated work.

It's like so many other annoying things going on, spam is everywhere. It's why I deleted my Tumblr account. I was getting three to five porn spambots every single day. It got old quickly. But this AI bullshit is just that, more bullshit.

I heard from AO3. They said to mark them as spam so they can keep track. Easy fix.

Bots are horrid!!!!!!! Someone using a computer to put down other people, just because they have nothing else to do in their life.
