I've just finished watching the Wilco DVD for the umpteenth time. While the credits are rolling, Pure Imagination from the original Willy Wonka movie is played and i've been singing it all night. Pat. If it'll make you feel better track down your old teacher and you can tell her how she scarred you for life. She might be nice enough to see the error of her ways and give you a sincere heartfelt apology. Alternatively, she could be a bitter and twisted old crone who hates the word now. In which case seeing her like that might be a boost for you anyway.
