A few weeks ago she’d been diagnosed with cancer
And now in the waiting room she was waiting for an answer
The doctor walks out with a stricken look on his face
Wishing he could take this poor girls place
Why must life end for this girl
Its not fair that crashing down comes her world
He looks at her and speaks “I wish it werent so, but it wont be ok
It saddens me to say that running short are your days
It brings tears to my eyes to have to tell you
But there's nothing me or anyone can do"
And as she looks him in the eyes, just about to let go and cry
She mouths the words “I don’t want to die”
